“Made in Russia”: R&P POLYPLASTIC makes its contribution

The Russian Government officially imposed the import substitution strategy in 2014. From then onwards many manufacturing sectors from various areas managed to make decisive progress. For the plastic processing industry, import substitution became one of the main drivers.

Research and Production Enterprise “POLYPLASTIC”, a leading producer of polymer compounds in Russia and the CIS, actively supports its customers from various industries in their work to accelerate import substitution. Such work is carried out in favor of auto manufacturers, producers of household appliances and electric tools.

Significant successes have been achieved in recent years. For example, producers of auto components such as Magna, Faurecia, Valeo and Uz-Koram Co, which produces exterior and interior parts for Chevrolet cars, started using Russian materials produced by R&P POLYPLASTIC.

Moreover, major efforts have been put into production of household appliances. Recently, materials for B/S/H/ Hausgeräte and LG Electronics water machine tanks as well as Indesit refrigerator boxes were localized.    

In the interests of Bosch Power Tools the Russian compounder localized materials for power tools boxes.

R&P POLYPLASTIC is a leading Russian compounder in terms of production volumes and sales. The company has a unique R&D Center and is willing to support national and foreign companies in their localization efforts. Currently we are working on several projects which are scheduled for completion in the years 2021 – 2022.
