R&P POLYPLASTIC offers high-tech solutions at Cabex 2021

At company’s booth С313 in pavilion 8 of hall 3 in Moscow Expocentre visitors will be able to learn about new developments enabling to achieve improved efficiency during production of insulations and bandages for cables for oid-submersive pupms as well as unique properties of manufactured goods.

Armlen PP-6EX and Armlen PP-9EX will be presented at the booth – these are materials based on propylene block copolymer with increased oils resistivity.

Armlen PP-6EX and Armlen PP-9EX have the following specific features:

• Have increased resistivity to temperature effect, copper ions and oils;
• Heat-stabilized and frost-resistant;
• Serially produced in natural color and can be painted with masterbatches based on polyolefins during production process;
• Oil-submersible cables with insulation and bandage made from Armlen PP-6EX and Armlen PP-9EX can be used at temperatures over 125°С.
• Have a higher rate of procession in comparison with other materials produced in Russia.

In addition to abovementioned properties, Armlen PP-6EX is characterized by reduced oils and petroleum products absorption with strengthening of requirements to load fall after yield point and modulus of extension strain from 10 to 20 MPa. Armlen PP-6EX is in full conformity with technical specification № 06.2020 of PJSC “Surgutneftegaz”.

Armlen PP-9EX (TS 20.16.59-191-11378612-2019) conforms to “Uniform technical requirements for electrical submersible pump unit, sucker rod and assessment of performance of equipment for oil extraction” of PJSC Rosneft and other companies.  

R&P POLYPLASTIC also produces a range of materials based on styrenic block copolymers, which are successfully used for production of cable bandages and insulation. These thermoelastoplasts have high strength together with increased elasticity and demonstrated perfect performance characteristics by effect of a wide range of working temperatures from -60°С to +90°С.   

Technotep 35-2IO-80A for cable insulation is produced in natural color and is painted into the required color directly at the customer’s production plant. Technotep 35-2IO-80A for cable bandages is serially produced in black color. Its sphere of application is production of voltage cables for construction sights, cables for external electrical networks and underground cables.  

Halogen free cable compositions for inner lining meeting modern fire safety regulations are also being developed.
