Participation of R&P POLYPLASTIC in the 23rd Exhibition Tires and Rubbers

The Tires and Rubbers exhibition has been held in Moscow for many years and has become a significant event for the industry. In 2019 R&P POLYPLASTIC – the leader of Russian polymer industry took active part in the exhibition’s business program.

Company specialists made a detailed report about the international market of styrene thermoelastoplasts (TEP) and told about their use perspectives in Russia. Today TEPs are increasingly being used for production of compounds for footwear, household products, car mats as well as door and window gaskets.

According to experts, the total TEP manufacturing output amounts to 2.5 – 3 million tons a year whereas 6% of them are styrene TEPs. The leading manufacturing countries are China, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and Philippines. Despite that Russia is not among the leaders of this industry there are very good prospects for development.

R&P POLYPLASTIC makes its contribution to the development of Russian TEPs. In 2018, the company introduced more than 20 brands of TEP compounds for different application areas onto the national market. Owing to R&P POLYPLASTIC’s efforts, Russian TEP compounds are already available on the markets of Europe, Uzbekistan and Belorussia.
