R&P POLYPLASTIC will supply to the Chinese automotive concern

In Togliatti, The Research and Production Enterprise POLYPASTIC has successfully negotiated with the largest manufacturer from China (1 million cars sold in 2016) in the automotive segment - Great Wall Motor, brand HAVAL. The supplier of compounds begins the process of homologation of materials.

The Chinese brand HAVAL is recent in the Russian market but has already begun construction of the plant in the Tula region. The assembly line launch is scheduled for early 2019. The plant's capacity will be 80,000 cars per year. Negotiations with the Russian supplier of composite materials lasted for more than two years. At the moment, the most important part begins – sides are to sign the official cooperation Agreement on materials homologation. The Russian plastics will applied in exterior and interior spaces. Mr. Shi Jianzhou, the Head of Purchase Department, and Mr. Dong Xiaogang, Head of Technical Department, were representing the auto company at the meeting.

According to the top management of the R&P POLYPLASTIC, Chinese manufacturers do not require an introduction. There is a huge number of advantages, including economic ones that make them very attractive players in the market. "It is meaningful for us that a new producer, which currently enters the Russian market, chose R&P POLYPLASTIC brand." Today, the task of our entire team is to justify the consumer's expectations and make our partner’s work in Russia as comfortable as possible."

It is worth noting that "HAVAL" specialises in cars of "off-road" and "crossover" classes. The lineup produced at the new plant will consist of 8 models of different segments - from the economic to the premium class.
