R&P POLYPLASTIC is proud to present Russia's first PPS-compound

.

Major issues confronting Russian automotive manufacturers in their attempt to reach foreign markets were attended at a discussion panel in Moscow titled The development of automotive export. Specialists from the Research and Production Enterprise POLYPLASTIC took an active part in the work of the panel.

The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade had initialized this meeting and brought together the country’s largest OEMs (BWM, Renault, Toyota, PSA, Mazda, AVTOVA, UAZ, GAZ, KAMAZ) and companies that supply to their manufacture (R&P POLYPLASTIC, R&P Itelma, Avtokomponent, Faurecia etc). Representatives from these companies had a chance to deliver their concerns and questions to officials that regulate the industry, including officials from the Ministry of Economic Development and the Government. Probably the most “lively” subject was that of the barriers that companies have to face in the attempt to reach international markets. Speakers provided listeners with statistics that demonstrated a peculiar situation in Romania – a remarkable increase of export possibilities is being witnessed in the country (35%), while just 1% of international markets are available for the Russian Federation. The wonder of Romania may be explained by a free trade zone that includes the whole of Europe along with duty-free relationships that Romania enjoys with numerous countries of the East.

According to specialists solving the current situation in Russia requires altering the way the Government aids business. For instance, to aid companies that supply materials to the auto manufacturers – provide the possibility for the Russian companies to participate in business tenders around the world.

‘This had been a positive experience, for not every platform presents the possibility to be heard by federal ministers. We were able to take out information very useful for our Export rush program’ – thus commented specialists from the Russian compounder.
