The Mayor of Moscow visited POLYPLASTIC’s R&D

The Mayor of Moscow – Sergey Sobyanin – visited the Ochakovo site, which belongs to POLYPlASTIC Group. The production site encompasses the company’s Research and Development materials and a Gaztrubplast factory.

The POLYPLASTIC Group produces a wide range of innovative products such as polymer pipes and composite materials for different industries (automotive, household appliance, construction and others).
A large number of technological solutions and researches on polymer composite materials are developed at its own scientific center.
During Mayor’s visit Danil Kobylichenko – head of the R&D – shared about the company’s goals and future projects. The import substitution programs was also discussed.
Danil Kobylichenko: “We develop materials for innovative production, that can fully substitute imported brands of polymer compounds”.

The company’s efforts in import substation of polymer composites materilas in this year had yielded wonderful success: automotive manufacturers changed their stance towards the localization of materials”.

Composite materials production lines – 20 thousand tons per year – from Ochakovo will be transferred to Saratov and Togliatti according to the reorganization plan.
