Governor of Saratov region attended new production line launching event

On June 23, 2015, a new high-performance production line – compounding of polymer composite materials and highly filled masterbatches – BUSS MX 105 extruder, was launched at R&P POLYPLASTIC's production site in Engels city (Saratov region).
The ceremonial event was attended by Valeriy Radaev – Governor, Saratov region.
“Amid difficult times we are not engaged in preserving and increasing production capacities only, but we create new production lines – able to solve the import substitution task” stated Valeriy Radaev “This speaks for the research and production potential of domestic industry, of good management, of new perspectives for Russia and Saratov region”.
Buss kneader is a multifunctional compounding system able to operate most difficult tasks. The new MX generation was developed with a single target: to significantly improve high-grade compounding efficiency while at the same time enhancing product quality
Equipment’s nominal output is said to reach up to 1300 kg/h – this will provide R&P POLYPLASTIC an increase of capacities of 10 000 tons. Thus the capacity of the Saratov plant shall be 60 thousand tons.

“This plant is unique. It incorporates most modern technologies, good management – not afraid to apply new and innovative methods – and highly professional staff. Although our production site is not that big we still produce a substantial quantity of products. Products that are in a high demand on the market in all spheres of industry. This is genuine import substitution” commented Governor Radaev.
A total of 205 mln rubles was invested into this project. This project will avail creation of Russia’s largest polymer composites production plant – priority to domestic raw materials will be given to fulfill the import substitution program and benefit domestic car manufacturing companies (first of all AVOTOVAZ), companies engaged in civil construction and localized enterprises of white goods.
