R&P POLYPLASTIC plans to export third of its product line

During a press conference at Interplastica the largest compounds materials producer on the territory of Russia and CIS presented a new international program ‘Export rush’. A contract with German PolytradeGlobal was signed in respect to forwarding the compounder to the European market, annual export capacity is set on 1000 tons. Specialists from R&P POLYPLASTIC aim to reach this level by 2018. As of today, the level of operation with external suppliers reaches 180 tons. According to the company’s managing partner – Andrey Menshov – a fivefold increase has a fruitful base. ‘Today we have preferences – with the nationals currency’s devaluation, R&P POLYPLASTIC has become more competitive on international markets. We aim to make use of this situation.’

Presumably, Russia’s largest composite materials producer will bring to the international markets its popular brands as Armlen, Armamid, Technamid, Armoflen, and others. These materials are in demand with the auto industry.

Despite the ‘Export rush’ program, POLYPLASTIC will continue to further its success with European consumers – commented Andrey Menshov. According to forecasts, the company should reach export capacities not less than 30% by 2018-2019.

As of today, the company supplies to the near abroad countries as Uzbekistan – General Motors, exterior and interior details – and Belarus, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan. In Western Europe, R&P POLYPLASTIC cooperates with WOKO company, the compounder supplies materials for underhood details.
