Information for partners picking up goods from Moscow

Since January 2022, new rules for the movement of trucks have been in force in Moscow: a special pass is required for each vehicle with maximum authorized mass of more than 3.5 tons.

Entry and movement of trucks in the city of Moscow (inside Moscow Ring Road) is limited around the clock. Restrictions apply to all cargo vehicles, regardless of their registration place, form of ownership and purpose of entering. In addition, starting from January 1, 2022, trucks are subject to mandatory registration in Moscow Unified Regional Navigation and Information System (RNIS) in order to get the pass.

The new rules also apply to R&P POLYPLASTIC warehouse located inside Moscow Ring Road, and may significantly complicate shipments for foreign partners.

In order to avoid possible problems, R&P POLYPLASTIC advises foreign partners to pick up materials from the warehouse located at the main production site, in Engels, Saratov Region. The company is ready to provide a discount equal to the cost of goods transportation from Engels to Moscow.

In case if the materials pick up in Engels is completely unacceptable, please use the instructions for issuing a pass:

1) A foreign person must have a trustee in the Russian Federation, who has an account on mos.ru website and on whose behalf information about the vehicle will be entered online.

2) Register in the RNIS system.

3) In order to become a RNIS user, it is necessary to equip the vehicle with a subscriber telematics terminal, apply for its connection, go through the registration procedure and receive a login and password to access the service. For detailed instructions on please browse at https://rnis.mos.ru/
