A Christmas present from R&P POLYPLASTIC to hospitals in Samara

.

Before the New Year Samara municipal hospital №8 and Samara regional clinical hospital for war veterans received two and two 5-litre oxygen concentrators JAY 5.  Within the scope of its  charitable program R&P POLYPLASTIC purchased the medical equipment for an overall amount of 268 thousand Rubles.

“Today, during the COVID-19 pandemic, this equipment is essential – a very relevant New Year present”, sais Marina Garyavina, clinical nurse manager of the Municipal hospital №8. The JAY 5 concentrators produce 90-96% concentrated oxygen in the volume of 0,5 to 5 liters per minute – they are irreplaceable in case of acute hypoxia.

During the delivery ceremony, Dimitriy Urasov, Head of R&P POLYPLASTIC production plant in Togliatti noted that while the enterprise is present in the region it could not keep out of the global problem. “We were eager to provide required assistance. We had consultations with the Health ministry of Samara region, which helped us to decide on the nomenclature”, sais Dimitriy Urasov.

Both medics and the representative of R&P POLYPLASTIC expressed their hope that in the foreseeable future the pandemic will be overwhelmed. Oxygen concentrators will remain in the hospitals and continue to benefit the patients with heart and vein illnesses and chronic lung pathologies.
