R&P POLYPLASTIC handed over 10 thousand medical gloves to the Engels city hospital

.

R&P POLYPLASTIC provided assistance to the Engels city hospital in its fight with COVID-19. Means of protection worth 250 thousand Rubles were purchased on the company’s initiative after consultations with the regional Ministry of Health and upper-level hospital staff, which defined exactly what was necessary for the medical institution.

“We hope that our humble input will help our medical workers to effectively resist coronavirus. In this fight doctors are on the frontline and it is our duty to provide them with reliable protection”, said Evgeniy Parshikov, Head of R&P POLYPLASTIC Engels production plant, during the hand over ceremony.

He specially thanked the Saratov region Ministry of health for assistance in choosing the purchasing nomenclature and a reliable supplier.

Olesya Ermolaeva, chair of Medical Committee providing health care to adult population noted that the Engels city hospital is one of the key points in the region’s combat against coronavirus pandemic. This medical institution provides medical assistance to residents of not only the Engels municipality but also neighboring territories. “Your assistance to our hospital will help each medical worker. We are grateful to organizations providing means of protection to our medical institutions”, emphasized Olesya Ermolaeva.

“Protection is crucial for medical workers. Doctors can also fall ill and this leads to understaffing, sais Olesya Koroleva, Deputy Chief Doctor of the Engels city hospital. We are indeed at the frontline fighting for the lives of each patient. During a comparatively brief period of work of our COVID center we have already checked out 2500 patients”.

Representatives of R&P POLYPLASTIC and medical workers expressed confidence that joint efforts of all members of the community will at some point allow to take over coronavirus. Then, doctors will be able to relax of their heroic strain they are experiencing now. Schoolchildren will be back at their desks. Movie theatres and cafes will be once again full of people. “We truly believe in this, that is why for the year 2021 we are planning a major expansion of production by creating the Saratov Plant of Polymer materials. Investments into equipment will amount up to 3 million Euros”, said Alexander Parshikov.

But this is a matter for the future. Today all socially responsible enterprises must exert their fullest efforts to contribute to overcoming this epidemic.
