On October 25 in Russia workers of the cable industry celebrate their professional holiday: 141 years ago engineer Siemens from German electric company Siemens & Halske obtained a certificate allowing production of covered wire and telegraph cables at a production plant in Saint Petersburg.  

High-voltage power lines, electricity supply, trunk circuits, oil extraction, communication facilities and many other things became possible owing to the work of professionals from the cable industry. R&P POLYPLASTIC is proud of the opportunity to cooperate with you!

In 2013, we made first shipments to cable plants “Alur” and “Rybinsk cable”. Today, R&P POLYPLASTIC is the supplier of leading cable production plants in the country supplying from 250 to 450 tons of materials for the cable industry per month. They include Technotep 35-2IJ-80A for cable insulation, Technotep 35-2IJ-80A-910 for cable coating, cable thermoelastoplasts based on SEBS and halogen free polymer compositions.  

In great demand are Armlen PP-6EX and Armlen PP-9EX materials with increased resistivity to impact of petroleum products. They are used in production of cable insulation for oil-submersible pumps with operating temperatures over 125°С. Initially for cable insulation we used Armlen PP-4EX and PP-5EX materials, however today their features are not enough – requirements of oil producers are constantly tightening. For this reason, R&P POLYPLASTIC developed new materials.
