R&P POLYPLASTIC summarizes third quarter results in Moscow headquarters

Research and Production Enterprise “POLYPLASTIC” summarized its Q3 financial results in the company’s Moscow headquarters on October 24.

Overall shipments of polymer compounds in Q3 amounted to 26.5 thousand tons.  The main areas of consumption have not changed for several years and include automotive industry, producers of household appliances and civil construction materials. However, in Q3 for the first time in company’s history demand of household appliances manufacturers exceeded the demand of auto components producers (7.5 thousand tons compared to 6.8 thousand tons).  Comparing to Q3 2018 shipments increased by 15.6%.

According to the forecasts of Director General of Trade House “Polyplastic” Pavel Kruglov: “There is every reason to believe that by the end of 2019 the company will be able to produce and sell over 90 thousand tons of finished products”.   

Increasing export shipments is another strategic goal of the company for the coming years. At the moment, several distribution agreements are signed with Polytrade, Polystylex and Radka. These companies work in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Eastern Europe and the Baltic States.  R&P POLYPLASTIC is searching for partners in other countries, for instance Morocco where the auto industry is actively developing.

“We can already say with great certainty that this year the amount of export shipments will rise to approximately 1 thousand tons. The Export rush program is gaining momentum and next year the volume of export shipments will rise to 5 thousand tons”, said Managing Partner of R&P POLYPLASTIC Andrey Menshov.

At the end of the conference, top-management thanked the company’s team for their hard work and wished success in achieving Q4 targets.
